Warranty Masnoo Furniture
Masnoof Warranty
At Masnoof Furniture, we are committed to providing high-quality products and offering a warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty period ranges from 3 to 10 years depending on the product type. The actual warranty period for each product is specified on the product page, invoice, or approved warranty document.
Please read the following terms carefully to understand the scope of the warranty and the conditions for claiming it.
1. Scope of Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that appear during normal use of the product within the specified warranty period. It covers all parts of the product, including:
-
Wooden Structure: manufacturing or assembly defects that affect the product's durability or safety.
-
Accessories and Operating Mechanisms: manufacturing defects in hinges, drawer slides, handles, opening and closing mechanisms, and other accessories supplied with the product.
-
Upholstery and Stitching: manufacturing defects in the upholstery or stitching resulting from a manufacturing error.
-
Paints and Finishes: manufacturing defects in the finishes and paints that abnormally affect the product's quality or appearance.
-
Other Product Parts: any other part included with the sold product, provided that a manufacturing defect is proven to exist during the warranty period.
The warranty applies to all parts mentioned throughout the product's specified warranty period, subject to the exceptions set forth in this policy.
2. Warranty Period and Commencement
-
The warranty period for Masnoof products ranges from 3 to 10 years, depending on the product type.
-
The specific warranty period for each product is specified on the product page on the website, the invoice, or the approved warranty document.
-
The warranty period begins on the date the customer receives the product, subject to any applicable legal provisions regarding installation or operation.
-
Please retain the invoice or proof of purchase to verify the purchase date, product, and warranty period.
-
The expiration of the commercial warranty does not affect any other rights granted to the customer by law.
3. What Is Not Covered by the Warranty
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from the following causes, provided that they are proven to be the actual cause of the problem and not a manufacturing defect:
a. Normal Wear and Tear
-
Gradual changes in the color of fabric or leather due to normal use or the passage of time.
-
Pilling or the appearance of lint on fabrics due to friction and normal use.
-
Normal wear of foam, cushions, or padding over time due to use.
-
Natural changes that do not affect the product's integrity or functionality and are not considered manufacturing defects.
b. Misuse or Improper Care
-
Damage resulting from use that is inconsistent with the product's intended purpose or the provided use and care instructions.
-
Damage resulting from negligence, overloading, or improper use.
-
Damage resulting from cleaning with unsuitable methods or harsh chemicals that affect the materials or finishes.
-
Damage resulting from repairs or modifications performed by the customer or another party without Masnoof's approval, if it is proven that such work caused the defect or damage subject to the claim.
c. Environmental Factors
-
Damage resulting from direct and excessive exposure to sunlight, moisture, water, or temperatures unsuitable for the product.
-
Swelling, cracking, or discoloration resulting from unsuitable storage or use conditions.
-
Damage caused by insects or pests, provided it is not due to a manufacturing defect.
d. Natural Variations in Materials
-
Natural variations in wood grain, patterns, or color shades.
-
Natural variations in stone, marble, or other natural materials used in the product.
-
Slight variations in color shades resulting from the nature of the material or photography and lighting conditions, provided they do not constitute a material deviation from the agreed specifications.
e. Accidental and External Damage
-
Scratches, dents, or breaks resulting from impacts or accidents after the product has been received.
-
Damage resulting from burns, spills, or improper use.
-
Damage resulting from improper transport, storage, or installation by the customer or an unauthorized party, provided that this is proven to be the cause of the damage.
Important: These exceptions do not apply if it is proven that the problem resulted from a manufacturing defect or non-compliance with specifications, and they may not be interpreted in a manner that diminishes the customer's legal rights.
4. Customer Responsibility and Product Care
To maintain the product and benefit from the warranty, please adhere to the following:
-
Follow the use and care instructions provided with the product.
-
Clean the product using methods and materials suitable for the types of materials used.
-
Avoid overloading or using the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
-
Avoid exposing the product to water, moisture, heat, or direct sunlight in a manner that may damage it.
-
Contact Masnoof if a problem arises, and avoid performing repairs or modifications that may worsen the problem before coordinating with customer service.
5. How to File a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, please contact Masnoof Customer Service and provide the following information:
-
Order number, invoice number, or proof of purchase.
-
Customer name and the phone number registered with the order.
-
A clear description of the problem and the date it was observed.
-
Photos or a video showing the defect, if possible.
Masnoof may request additional information, photos, or videos to determine the nature of the problem and assess it.
6. Product Inspection and Determination of the Cause of the Defect
-
Masnoof has the right to inspect the product or the part subject to the complaint to verify the existence of a manufacturing defect and determine the cause of the problem.
-
The inspection may include a visit by a specialist technician to the customer's location or an inspection of the product at the company's premises or an authorized service center, depending on the nature of the product and the circumstances.
-
The claim will be assessed based on the inspection results, the nature of the defect, and the warranty terms.
-
The appearance of the problem after a period of use does not, on its own, constitute evidence of misuse, nor does it, on its own, constitute conclusive evidence of a manufacturing defect.
-
If it is determined that the problem resulted from misuse or a cause excluded from the warranty, the customer will be informed of the inspection results.
-
If the problem is not covered by the warranty, a separate repair offer may be provided at a cost that will be explained to the customer, and the customer's approval will be obtained before the work is performed.
-
Inspection or examination procedures may not be used to delay or diminish the customer's legal rights.
7. Procedures for Addressing Defects Covered by the Warranty
If it is proven that the defect is covered by the warranty, Masnoof will take appropriate action based on the nature of the defect, the warranty terms, and applicable law. This may include:
-
Repairing the defective part or component.
-
Replacing the defective part with a suitable part.
-
Replacing the product, when appropriate or necessary under the circumstances and applicable law.
-
Refunding the amount or taking any other action provided for by law in cases where the customer is entitled to do so.
The method of resolution will be determined based on the nature of the defect, the feasibility of repair, and the inspection results, without prejudice to the customer's legal rights.
8. Recurrence of the Defect After Repair
-
If the defect recurs or the problem persists after repair, please contact Masnoof Customer Service to open a follow-up claim.
-
The company will review the previous repair record and examine the circumstances to determine the cause of the recurring defect and the appropriate action.
-
If the same defect recurs or materially affects the product's performance, the case will be addressed in accordance with applicable legal provisions, including any rights provided by law in cases of recurring defects.
-
The repair procedure does not constitute a waiver of the customer's rights or an exemption for Masnoof from its established legal obligations.
9. Maintenance and Repair Record
-
Masnoof maintains a record of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed on the product when the company's procedures apply.
-
Depending on the nature of the service, the record includes a description of the problem, the action taken, the replacement parts used, and the date the service was performed.
-
The customer will be provided with proof of the work performed and the replacement parts used.
-
These records help track recurring claims and verify the history of previous repairs.
10. Transport and Maintenance Costs
-
The costs of transporting technicians and the product from the customer's location to the company or service center, and returning the product after repair, will be handled in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to the warranty.
-
If the claim is not covered by the warranty due to misuse or damage caused by external factors, the customer will be informed of any potential costs before the inspection or repair work requiring their approval is performed.
-
The customer will not bear any cost that applicable laws require the company to cover as part of its warranty obligations.
11. Limitations of Liability
Masnoof's obligations under the commercial warranty are limited to addressing defects covered by the warranty in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
The company is not liable for indirect damage or consequential losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the product, to the extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to any liability or right that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Amendment of the Warranty Policy
Masnoof reserves the right to update or amend this policy as needed. Amendments will apply to future purchases from the date they are published, without prejudice to the existing warranty rights for products purchased before the amendment, or to any rights granted to the customer by law.
13. General Provisions
-
The warranty period specified for each product on the product page, invoice, or approved warranty document shall apply.
-
Please retain the invoice or proof of purchase throughout the warranty period.
-
Warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification of the nature of the defect, with due regard for legally established rights and obligations.
-
None of the provisions of this policy shall diminish the customer's legal rights.
